“Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about those who don’t. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would most likely be worth it.” – Harvey Mackay
Madeline’s persistence and refusal to quit make her a huge asset to the HRC team. She established her professional accounting career with the firm in 2019 and currently serves as a staff accountant in the Assurance department. In this capacity, she works primarily on audits of nonprofit organizations.
A loyal and helpful professional, Madeline’s colleagues and clients alike appreciate her great patience in explaining complex accounting and audit concepts. She was inspired to pursue a career in accounting by her life-long fondness for both numbers and rules. In order to wind down after a busy workday, Madeline enjoys reading suspenseful thrillers; her favorite book is Silence of the Lambs.
Originally from Louisiana, Madeline currently lives in Henderson, Nevada. She met her husband of more than a decade—who is also from Louisiana—shortly after Hurricane Katrina, while working in the same restaurant. They currently have two children and a dog and are excited to discover what the future holds for them. These days, Madeline spends much of her free time studying for the CPA exams. She also enjoys spending time with her family and visiting the nearby mountains—they are her happy place!
