Heather Francis is a dedicated accounting professional with a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of tax preparation and financial management. With a background in both public accounting and corporate tax, she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role.
Heather began her public accounting career in 2019, following prior experience as a tax accountant at Sierra Nevada Corporation. Currently pursuing a degree in accounting from Western Governor’s University, she continues to expand her expertise in the field. Before joining our firm, she served as the Peer Review Manager at the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants (NVCPA), where she gained valuable insights into the industry.
Known for her empathy and compassion, Heather is committed to providing personalized and supportive service to her clients. Her colleagues and clients describe her as a hard worker who is always eager to learn and understand their unique needs. With a genuine care for her clients’ well-being, she believes in leading with kindness and building strong relationships based on trust and respect.
Heather’s decision to pursue a career in accounting was driven by a personal experience with tax preparation. Recognizing her own anxiety around the process, she sought to gain knowledge and expertise to alleviate her fears and help others overcome similar challenges.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Heather is an avid reader with a particular fondness for classic literature. House of Mirth by Edith Wharton is a favorite, inspiring her with the author’s perseverance and determination in a time when women faced significant barriers to publication.
A proud resident of the Reno area, Heather enjoys participating in local community events, such as ArtTown in July. In her free time, she loves spending quality moments with friends, family, and her two beloved dogs.
