In 2020, Melissa joined HRC, establishing her professional accounting career with the firm. She started as a staff accountant in the firm’s Assurance department and now serves as an Assurance Manager. She specializes in performing non-profit attest and compliance work, including Single Audits.
A dependable and driven professional, Melissa believes that the client always comes first. Her goal is to ensure that her clients have a smooth and seamless experience while working together. She is dedicated to continuous learning, viewing it as a key driver of both personal and professional growth. She chose to pursue a career in accounting because of an interest in business and a desire to help businesses meet their goals. She credits her career success to her ambition to accomplish her goals and a strong work ethic.
Born in Santa Barbara, California but raised in West Virginia, Melissa has lived in Las Vegas for more than 10 years. She enjoys the city because it offers a mix of small-town charm and big-city energy. In her free time, she most enjoys traveling, seeking out new adventures, and hiking with her dog, Max. Her favorite food is a West Virginia classic, pepperoni rolls.
